In October 2022, we opened Josephine GF Bakery in Bethesda, Maryland, named after my daughter and inspired by my wife Valentine, who lives with severe gluten intolerance.

In 2024, Josephine GF Bakery was honored by Bethesda Magazine as the “Best New Gluten-Free Bakery” in their Best of Bethesda Awards.

This recognition celebrated our commitment to creating gluten-free breads and pastries that rival their traditional counterparts.

Today, Josephine GF continues that legacy through our line of artisan gluten-free flour mixes — crafted with the same dedication, passion, and integrity that defined our bakery in Bethesda.

From our family kitchen to yours

Josephine GF began with one goal — bringing real flavor back to gluten-free living.

As a French-trained crêpe chef, I began baking gluten-free waffles, crêpes, and bread for my wife and was struck by how few gluten-free options existed in the D.C. area. What began as an act of love in our family kitchen soon grew into something much bigger.
